# Core Strategy Types

Each adapter implements a common deposit / withdraw / harvest interface, so swapping the underlying protocol for another of the same type requires no change to the vault or compounding logic. Core categories include:

#### Looped Lending

The vault supplies stablecoins and major assets to lending markets on HyperEVM to earn interest — the most basic, battle-tested strategy in the stack, and the default base allocation. The position is then looped (supply, borrow, supply again) to amplify returns.

#### **Looped Staking**

HYPE is deposited into a liquid staking protocol in exchange for an LST, capturing native network staking yield. The LST is then posted as collateral to borrow stablecoins, buy more HYPE, and stake again — a looped structure that amplifies the base yield.

#### Delta-Neutral Strategy

An equal-notional long/short position is held to hedge out price movement so returns come from the funding rate and basis spread rather than the direction of the underlying asset — spot against perpetual on HyperCore’s order book for native assets, or a HIP-3 tokenized equity or index perpetual against its traditional-market reference, where the basis widens because the asset trades 24/7 on-chain but only during regular hours in its home market.
